Fun Rainy-day DIY September 9
The sun may still be shining, but soon the rains will return. And along with the precipitation, comes the onslaught of soggy kids and muddy pets. Keeping the heirs indoors is hardest with the younger charges, who need somewhat involving distractions.
To avoid anesthesia via TV try this simple, inexpensive craft. The instructions are courtesy of the Craft Yarn Council of America. But I found it posted by my latest Design Crush, Jen (aka Domestika) at her terrific blog Domestic Goddess.

This latest idea is really cute & creative (Ken Hoyt trademarks!), and although we don’t have any munchkins underfoot in our home, rainy season or no, it’s a great way to help those who DO connect with their kids…and their kids get in touch with their own creative energy.
All this aside, as always Ken- your posts’ humorous bent always makes for an enjoyable read, regardless the topic!
